Cowberry contains carbohydrates, useful organic acids (lemon, salicylic, apple, etc.), pectin, carotene, tannins, vitamins A, C, E. In berries up to 10-15% of sugars (glucose, sucrose, fructose), and so the same potassium, calcium, magnesium, manganese, iron and phosphorus. Due to the large amount of benzoic acid, the berries of cowberry are well preserved.
