Broth Ingredients:
- Variety of chopped vegetables (carrots, potatoes, parsnips, celery root)

- 1 pinch of pepper
- 4 allspice berries
- 1 teaspoon salt
- Parsley
- 2 liters of water
Other Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon horseradish
- 2 teaspoons marjoram
- 250-300 ml żurek sourdough starter
- 100 ml cream (optional)
- Boiled eggs (optional)
Instructions:
- Combine broth ingredients in a pot and simmer for 1.5 hours. Strain.
- Stir in sourdough starter, adjusting amount to taste.
- Add horseradish and marjoram. Simmer for 2 more minutes.
- Temper cream with a bit of hot soup before adding it in (optional).
- Serve with boiled eggs (optional).
